Sep. 5th, 2008 @ 09:16 am Why I'm voting Libertarian
Current Mood: annoyed
Here are a couple reasons (among many others) I will be voting for the Libertarians this election.

Fake soldiers used in RNC video

“You can’t bring that in here, this is Mc Cain territory”

And what's with this, "Country First", nationalist shit? Propaganda, scare tactics, brutality and now nationalist mottos. The Republicans are our new Nazi Party. Because of the things I've experienced and seen, they have lost me for life.

Israel is now publicly backing Georgia. Turkey is assisting Georgia with supplies. Azerbaijan is posturing and saber rattling. Georgia is officially asking the U.S. for assistance.

Current Mood: worried
Georgia is supplied weapons from Israel. Russia and Georgia begin attacking one another. Israel hates Iran and is itching to bomb them. Rice told Israel they will not stop them from attacking Iran. Iran and Russia are allies. U.S. is ally of Israel and is part of NATO. Where this goes is anybody's guess.

On a personal note, my hours were cut about a month ago and I was told 2 days ago that I may be laid off in the near future.

Baghdad insists on right to veto US operations

We were supposed to be "liberators" but now Bush wants to build a huge embassy and military bases which will remain for an indefinite amount of time. The Iraqis don't want any part of this as their fear of the U.S. being "occupiers" seems to be coming true. As a sovereign nation, I agree with the Iraqis. They are currently working on a pact with Iran and Turkey for mutual protection and want to run the clock out on Bush. So, what does Bush do? He freezes $50 billion of Iraq's cash being held in the New York Fed until they sign the proposed agreement. What a guy!

"Hitting the gas companies might make for good campaign literature or evening news clips, but it won't address the problem. This bill isn't a serious response to gas prices. It is just a gimmick."

The high gas prices have nothing to do with supply, political parties or OPEC. Do some research and WAKE UP already!
